My more than 100 Writer/Producer credits have earned me an Emmy Award and two NAACP Image Award nominations.
African Ancestry Radio on Sirius XM's Urban Radio Network was short-lived, but packed a powerful punch. The seasonal series I co-hosted with AfricanAncestry.com co-founder Gina Paige, offered engaging conversation and information about Black Ancestry and Identity and offerred DNA reveals of celebrity talent including Academy Award winner Louis Gossett, Jr. and Oscar nominee, Aunjanue Ellis.
While I've written and produced hundreds of hours of television programming for TVOne, BET, TVLand, NBC, A&E, The Africa Channel, and CBS, my proudest TV credit was as a contributing producer for a 60 Minutes segment on anti-gang activist, author, and former Crips co-founder Stanley Tookie Williams, prior to his botched execution by lethal injection.
